  • KBS is delighted that it has won two awards at the ABU Prizes 2017.

    KBS Special- A Cruel Gift was named the winner in the category of TV documentary. A Cruel Gift records the final days of terminal cancer patients, helping audiences realize how precious our lives truly are. The documentary won the Gold World Medal in the category of Human Concerns Documentary & Information at this year’s New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films. The documentary also received an award at the annual World Fest-Houston International Film Festival.   .

    Also, in the radio competition, KBS World Radio Special –The 3rd Korean Language Video Content collected a Special Commendation in the interactive programme category.

    The ABU’s annual competition for radio and television programs attracted over 280 entries from 50 countries across the world this year. The ABU Prizes 2017 was celebrated in Chengdu, China on November 3, 2017 during the ABU General Assembly
