  • KBS recently announced new high-profile appointments including two Executive Vice Presidents.


    KBS named the highly experienced documentary maker Cho In-seok as Executive Vice President. A veteran technology expert, Mr. Lee Jong-ok was also appointed to Executive Vice President of KBS.


    Mr. Cho has an extensive background in documentary production since he joined KBS as a television producer in 1985. He had directed and produced numerous quality factual programming for KBS including China, Noodle Road and Asian Corridor in Heaven. In his new position, he will be responsible for leading various divisions of KBS including broadcasting and marketing, news production, TV and radio production, and drama business affairs.


    Previously Mr. Lee held a number of senior management roles in including Governor of KBS N, Executive Managing Director Technology and New Media Technology, and Executive Director of Broadcast Facility. Mr. Lee will be leading a number of branches of KBS such as future business, production technology and audience services.  


    Other new executive appointments of the recent reshuffle include Executive Managing Director Strategy and Planning Lee Sun-jae, Executive Managing Director Broadcast and Marketing Kim Young-gook, Executive Managing Director Future Business Kim Seong-soo, Executive Managing Director News and Sports Hong Ki-sub and Executive Managing Director Content Production Kim Jin-hong.
