- Korean Broadcasting System is Korea’s leading public service broadcaster.
KBS operates two terrestrial and one international TV channels, six terrestrial
and one international radio channels and, four Digital Multi Broadcasting

- The KBS Visitor’s Hall (Gyeon Hak Hall in Korean) is open on both weekdays
and in weekends. The entrance is free and you can have a look around without a guide.
It takes about 40 minutes. It is located at KBS Main Building (Bon-Gwan). Reservation
is required if the group consists of more than 11 people. For group reservation,
call +82 2 781 2224~5.

- The KBS Drama Center is located in the outskirts of Seoul which takes about
an hour and a half from central Seoul. It has indoor drama studios, mini set of
broadcasting facilities and the outside drama sets of Seoul in the 18th century for
the visitors to see how the historical dramas are produced. There is a guided tour
but the reservation is required before the visit, at least three days in advance by email.
- To reserve, write your name and other accompanying members' names and contact details to
tour@kbs.co.kr. The entrance is free but you need to have an identification card to enter.
Tour takes approximately one hour and the center is closed on national holidays.

Please be reminded that you cannot reserve or cancel on the actual day
of the visit. If you would like to cancel, inform us at least three days
in advance by email. For group reservation, if the group consists of more than
30 people, they need to tour separately into two groups at a different time slot.
Parking spaces are available for visitors.

- We have a program called (I want to see him/her or 그 사람이 보고싶다 in Korean)
for people who would like to find their lost families or biological parents
in Korea. You can write on the message board of the program’s website or send
a letter by post to the below address. However as the web page is available only
in Korean, if you cannot speak Korean fluently, use your network of Korean friends
to write your information in details such as name of the place you were born, of your
birth parents or relatives and the contact details of yourself etc. The producers may
or may not contact you for further progress as there are many requests from both inside
and outside of Korea.

- The <Music Bank> is a live Korean pop-music show which takes place
every Friday at 18:30. The venue is located in KBS Shin-Gwan TV Hall
and you can get free tickets online by log-on to the website. The following is how to get the tickets. You have to be twelve of age or over to apply for the ticket. Please bear in mind that the website is available only in Korean.

Available from Thursday 09:00 to Friday 24:00 a week before the show.
- 3. You can select your seat after the winner’s announcement. Available from the following Monday 18:00 to Wednesday 18:00.
If you don’t select your seat, it will be randomly given on the day of the <Music Bank>.
- 4. The seating tickets will be distributed after checking the reservation number on the day of the <Music Bank>. Only seating ticket holders are allowed to enter the hall.

- It takes a few days to confirm registration when foreigners living abroad register
for the KBS on-line membership. To confirm please send a photocopy of your passport
(page of your photo) to either member@kbs.co.kr or fax it to +82 2 6939 8886.
If you do not type in the full address or the registration number correctly,
we cannot confirm and you will receive an email saying that you cannot join KBS
on-line membership which delays your registration. For more information on how to
join KBS on-line membership please click here or send an email to member@kbs.co.kr
if you still encounter problems.
