  • Epik High Launches Campaign to Defend Dokdo Islets
  • [2005-03-18]
  • The hip-hop group Epik High has joined the ranks of Korean artists who have recently been criticizing Japan for its claims over the Dokdo Islets. Members of the group have produced posters for a special three-part "Dokdo edition" of the cable channel program "High Society," which is hosted by the group.

Epik High's campaign to protect the Dokdo Islets involves attaching the posters on the walls of the Japanese embassy building and at Incheon International Airport, which is frequented by Japanese travelers. The tagline of the posters reads, "Whose territory do you think Dokdo is?"

"As Korean citizens, we are dumbfounded by the nonsense of the Japanese government. We must show the Japanese people once and for all that Dokdo is our land," said Epik High members.
