- 1st Jongno Film Festival Kicks Off Nov. 17

The 1st Jongno Film Festival (JNFF) will be launched Nov. 17-25 in Core Art Hall and Cinecore under the theme `Watching Movies with Clouds.` The purpose of the festival is to revive the nostalgic memories of the romantic Jongno street, whose old name is Unjong-ga. A total of 28 long and short movies will be shown at the festival, including `The Charming Girl` (directed by Lee Yun-ki), which will be shown at the opening ceremony, `A Snake of June` (directed by Chikamoto Shinya), an unreleased movie, `Wimbledon` (directed by Richard Loncrane), and `The Dreamers` (directed by Bernardo Bertolucci). Three movies of director Kar-Wai Wong - `Days Of Being Wild,` `In The Mood For Love` and `2046` - will be shown at night. Viewers will also have a chance to see the environmental omnibus movie `1.3.6,` digital short-film omnibus project by famous directors `Twentidentity 2` and short films that will be shown at the next festival.
