The Japanese media has declared actress Lee Young-ae a "woman-Yonsama." On April 4, major Japanese dailies including Sports Hochi and Sankei Sports extensively covered the filming of the movie "Nice Keum-ja," which stars Lee, on their websites. The filming took place on March 31 in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. Sports Hochi hailed Lee as "a top Korean actress," "a woman-Yonsama", "an unrivaled national actress" and "the Korean Yoshinaga Sayuri." The Japanese media called Lee a "woman-Yonsama" because the "yong" in Bae Yong-jun's name and the "young" in Lee Young-ae's name are both spelled "yon" (????) in Japanese. And the nickname signifies that Lee's popularity is on par with that of "Yonsama" Bae. In regards to the movie "Nice Keum-ja," the Japanese newspapers wrote that it is a product of a "collaboration between the world-renowned director Park Chan-ok and the woman-Yonsama Lee Young-ae." The March 31 filming set of "Nice Keum-ja" was crowded with over 100 Japanese and Hong Kong journalists.
