`Hey, Friend` performed by Cho PD and In Sun-yi has been found to be the most
frequently broadcast song on TV and radio in 2004. ChartKorea (chartkorea.net),
which monitored 1,073 programs nationwide, said Dec. 16 that `Hey, Friend` was
aired 4,379 times on ground-wave and satellite TV and radio, topping the list of
the most frequently broadcast songs.
The second spot was taken by `Love
Leaves Its Fragrance` performed by new artist Tei (4,095 times), followed by
`Sunflower` by Park Sang-min (3,536 times), `You`re My Woman` by Lee Seung-ki
(3,472 times) and `I Did Love You` by Lyn (3,451 times).
In the foreign
pop category, Britney Spears` `Toxic` topped the list with 974 times, followed
by Keren Ann`s `Not Going Anywhere` (662 times) and Sweet Box`s `Life Is Cool`
(530 times). However, foreign songs were found to significantly lag behind
domestic pop songs in terms of broadcasting frequency.
