Singer Tei is set to make inroads into the Japanese pop market by presenting Japanese audiences with heart-moving Korean ballads. He will hold his first concert in Japan on Aug. 26-27 at the Osaka International Conference Hall, which can accommodate 3,000 people. The organizers of the concert say Tei has gained enormous popularity in Japan for his impressive vocals after he performed at the `Rainbow Concert,` which was broadcast live by Fuji TV in Korea and Japan on July 21. At the concert, Tei sang his hit song `Love Is One,` which enraptured his Japanese fans, and performed a duo with another Korean singer, K, who is from the same agency as Tei and who recently topped the Japanese Oricon chart. "I want to show my Japanese fans the power of Korean pop, and establish a large fan base in this country through continuous efforts," said Tei. ` |
