  • Seo Tai-ji Returns to Korea to Participate in 2005 ETPFEST
  • [2005-06-01]
  • Singer Seo Tai-ji will come back to Korea this coming October to participate in the "2005 ETPFEST" (Eerie Taiji People Festival), exactly one year and two months after he left the country in August of last year to record his eighth album.

The 2005 ETPFEST, an annual global rock festival now in its fourth year, will be held on Oct. 16 at the "2005 Ansan Champ Car International Grand Prix Competition," an international motor sports event taking place in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. Seo will perform during the finale of the competition.

The ETPFEST, which is held every year by Seo Tai Ji & Co., typically features a variety of "weird Tai-ji people." Aside from Seo himself, the festival also features famous local and foreign rock bands, bringing musicians and audiences close together. Last year, guests bands included U.S. rock bands Hoobastank and Linkin Park, Japanese jazz rock band Pe'z, and Pia.

"The 2005 Ansan Champ Car International Grand Prix Competition is part of the Champ Car World Series, a globally renowned car race. About one thousand car racers and staff participate in this event every year, and it is broadcast live via satellite to 3.5 billion people in 68 countries of the world. This international event will serve as a good opportunity to let the entire world know about the ETPFEST," said a person from Seo Tai Ji & Co.
