The female group Jewelry, whose first full-length album `Jewelry First` released on March 9 has received a favorable fan response, will meet with fans in `Jewelry Cafe.` The cafe will be run by J-Popcafe Shibuya, located in Shibuya, Tokyo, for the week of April 22-27 under the slogan `Jewelry × Jayro Cafe.` In addition to personal messages from each group member and multi-vision video clips featuring the group`s concerts, the meeting will also include the introduction of `hallyu` dishes recommended by Jewelry members. Park Jung-ah will present her bibimpap (boiled rice mixed with vegetables and hot chili paste), Lee Ji-hyun will recommend tteokbokki (rice cakes fried in a spicy sauce), Seo In-young will appear with kimpap (rolled rice), and Cho Min-ah will introduce citrus tea. This Korean-Japanese fan meeting, the first of its kind, will be held in an unrestricted atmosphere, giving participants the chance to try Korean foods and chat with the group's members. Twenty of Jewelry's Korean fans (10 males and 10 females) accompanying the group on its Japanese tour will break into four teams to support each member of the group. The teams will stage cheerleading events for the group at Disneyland, downtown Tokyo and at parties. Jewelry`s visit to Japan is expected to create a stir as Japanese female groups have been staying low-key recently. |
