  • [2005-05-03]
  • Singer Seven`s concert tour of seven Japanese cities that will begin on May 22 has drawn significant attention from Japanese fans. The Japanese sports daily Sankei Sports reported on May 3 that 4,900 tickets, or 89 percent, of the total 5,500 tickets to Seven`s concert in Tokyo`s Bay NK Hall slated for May 22 were sold from April 13 to May 2.

Seven will release his second single in Japan, entitled `Style,` on May 18 and begin his tour May 22 in Tokyo, followed by a show in Sendai on June 1 and performances in the remaining five cities.

In the article entitled `Hallyu R&B Boom: Seven to Tour 7 Cities,` Sankei Sports predicted that Seven`s concerts will draw some 20,000 people in total.

Tickets to Seven`s concerts are being sold packaged together with Seven`s new single `Style,` as the purpose of this tour is to promote the single.

Sankei Sports quoted Seven as saying, "There will be many people who will see me in person for the first time during this nationwide tour. I will do my best to stage impressive performances."
