The male duo group Fly To The Sky is set to add its name to the list of Korean stars leading the Korean Wave, or hallyu, where Korean pop culture is sweeping the Asian region. The duo`s new agency PFull Entertainment said Monday that it will release the duo`s sixth album `Transition` in Taiwan on Feb.24. Fly To The Sky is not a totally new face to Taiwanese fans because it promoted itself in Taiwan in 2000, when its agency was SM Entertainment, the leading entertainment company which manages pop star BoA. `Fly To The Sky has had fans there since then, and the number is increasing due to the Korean Wave,` a PFull staffer said. `After seeing how the new album is received there, we will earnestly begin conducting promotional activities.` EMI, which will takes care of the sales of the group`s album in Taiwan, interviewed the group on Sunday to facilitate its own promotional activities. The staffer also said that the next destination may be Japan, where the drama `Fashion 70s,` for which the group sang the theme song, is scheduled to air from March. `If the drama gains popularity there, we will help it to make its debut in Japan,` he said. `Fashion 70s` was aired on the Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) last summer. |
