  • JYJ to Hold World Concert Tour
  • [2011-02-28]
  • Idol group JYJ (Kim Jae Joong, Park Yoo Chun, and Kim Jun Su) will hold a world concert tour in ten cities in seven countries from April. Their agency C-JeS Entertainment made the announcement on February 25. The agency said, “JYJ will hold a concert tour entitled ‘JYJ WORLD TOUR CONCERT in 2011’ starting with concerts in five Asian countries including Thailand on April 2 to April 3, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia, and five cities in North America: New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, San Francisco, and Vancouver. After they hold concerts in seven countries over two months, they will come back to Korea and finish their world tour with a performance in Korea.”

The world concert tour has been organized to commemorate their worldwide album “The Beginning,” which was released last October. In particular, Kim Jae Joong will personally plan and direct their concerts to be held in five Asian countries. A spokesperson for C-JeS Entertainment said, “Kim Jae Joong had already participated in organizing their concerts in terms of stage preparation and visual effects on the stage along with other staff members from Korea, USA, and Japan, so we have decided to appoint him as a director for this upcoming world tour because we recognize his capability as a director.”

Before the world tour begins, JYJ will hold a fan meeting entitled “JYJ Fan Meeting - Dating on Sweet White Day” in Jamsil Gymnasium on March 12 at 3 pm.
