  • [2014-01-22]

  • Korean popular rock band YB will release its first English single in the U.S. and U.K.

According to YB’s management agency Dee Company on Tuesday, YB is making a contract with Doug Goldstein, a former manager of ‘Guns N’ Roses’, legendary American rock band and will be releasing its first English single in mid-February.

Doug Goldstein is a prominent manager who directed management 'Guns N' Roses' from 1980s until 2000s.

In addition, a major publicist company, 'Lesley Z Media', which has directed  Duran Duran, Off Spring and Leann Rimes and a famous marketing agency ‘Big Machine Agency’ will be leading YB’s promotion in America and in England respectively.

YB members received the offer in last autumn from Doug Goldstein and decided to sign in after hearing his positive attitudes and detailed plans.

YB has been participating a huge number of overseas rock festivals, but this is the first time for them to sign a contract with foreign management agency. After the album release, YB will start its promotion mainly through radios and music magazines.

Doug Goldstein said, “YB is a great rock band composed of amazing musicians,” and “When I first heard their music, I felt like I found Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses of Korea.”

“YB members have been attuned to each other for almost 20 years which is their strength. I’m a huge fan of YB and I look forward to working with them for next 20 years,” he added.

Leader Yoon Do-hyun said, "It's been 10 years since YB performed on the stage outside Korea and finally we are getting a chance to introduce YB’s music to the world. I cannot wait to work with one of the best management agencies."
