  • ‘Old’ K-pop star g.o.d to make comeback
  • [2014-01-29]

  • First generation idol group g.o.d. is reuniting for a comeback album. It will be g.o.d’s first album since its eighth full-length album “Into the Sky,” released in 2005.

“Park Joon-hyung, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young, Yoon Kye-sang, and Kim Tae-woo have been discussing their comeback since last year and they started album recording for a commemorative 15th-anniversary for this April,” according to the K-pop industry on Tuesday.

However, there is also a possibility that their comeback can be postponed to this June since the members are in all different agencies and it takes to time to adjust the contract for this comeback.

In addition, Yoon Kye-sang who has been an actor since g.o.d being inactive, is filming new Mon/Tues drama ‘Beyond the Clouds’ on KBS 2TV which will be ended in April, so it would take more time for him to finish the album recording.

The group g.o.d. made a debut in 1999 and had been a no.1 popular boy band as first generation idol with songs including “To Mother,” “Lies,” “Road,” and more.
