  • Crayon Pop, “We are not even joking right now.”
  • [2014-04-04]

  • Crayon Pop is back to fans with their fifth single album “Uh-ee”.

The group, who caught viewers attention with “straight-five engine dance” and their signature helmets, held a comeback showcase for their fifth single album 'Uh-ee' at Gwanghwamum Olleh Square, Seoul. Ladies on the stage dressed Hanbok – Korean traditional costume with red scarves on their heads and Gomusin – traditional rubber shoes.

The choreography for new title “Uh-ee” reminds a one-legged fight, still extraordinary. The new playful dance is not yet named.

All members expressed their satisfaction with their new stage costume and said, “Isn’t it fun that a girl group is wearing Hanbok on the stage? It absorbs sweat well and cool to wear just like sweatsuit,” and “We feel like something is missing without a helmet, so we find an alternative, much lighter one. We even thought of tambourine, but it was hard to fix them on.”

Also, as announced earlier, the five-member group will appear on Lady Gaga’s upcoming concerts in the U.S. and Canada from June 29th to July 22nd to perform the opening act.

“We were surprised by three facts; First, world star Lady Gaga personally requested us to join her. Next, she watched our “BBA BBA BBA” music video by chance and wanted us to be on her stage. Finally, she asked us to sing for 30 minutes not just a one single performance of “BBA BBA BBA”. We are so excited!” the group added.

The new style of girl group will also perform a concert in Hongkong, Taiwan, Philliphines and more countries in April and May.
