  • Ryu Si Won Holds 100th Solo Concert

  • Hallyu star Ryu Si Won successfully finished his 100th solo concert in Japan on December 21, his agency R's Company said on December 22. Ryu Si Won has released a total of 22 albums in Japan for the past eight years since his debut in 2004. His 100th concert was held in Saitama Super Arena, and he appeared after wearing the same costume that he had worn during his first concert held in Budokan, Tokyo in 2005.




    And he created an explosive atmosphere by singing his debut song in Japan entitled "Promise." He sang around thirty songs and presented a special Christmas performance with 100 children. In addition, he presented the song entitled "The Place where We First Met" (composed by In Young Hoon) for the first time, which he personally wrote the lyrics to commemorate the late Park Yong Ha who passed away last year, and he held a joint performance with the Japanese guitarist Haruhata Michiya of the group Tube.




    The 25,000 audience members showed an explosive response for five hours during the concert while showing the number “100” with their card section performance. Ryu Si Won said, "I have always wanted to be acknowledged as an excellent singer and hold a concert with my name, and my dreams came true in Japan. I could achieve this thanks to my fans in Japan who have shown their great love to me for the past eight years. I will try harder to present better music and performances for you."

    Ryu Si Won completed his concert tour entitled "Ryu Si Won Live Your 2011 ☆NEGAI☆" that had been held in eight cities in Japan. He will showcase Korea in Japan by appearing in TV commercials of the Japanese travel agency HIS from January next year and he will appear in a drama in Korea.
