  • [2012-06-07]
  • Actor Oh Ji-ho has been reunited with his Japanese fans on June 2nd during his fan meeting titled “The Beginning of a New Journey”.

Oh entered Yoyogi Yamano Hall in Tokyo singing “I’m a Man” from the original soundtrack of “Stranger 6”, a drama jointly produced by Korea, China and Japan. To the cheering and delight of his fans he said, “It is the first time for me to sing in front of a crowd. I’m so nervous my legs are shaking.” He added, “It’s been a long time since we last met. I hope the memories we make today will last like a page in a book.”

Oh then talked about the projects he has been involved in lately, including his movie “Gone with the Wind” which is being called the Ocean’s Eleven of the Joseon Dynasty and medical drama “The Third Hospital”.

He said his fans are like his friends and during the Q&A session, he joked that he is keeping famous “chocolate” abs in the refrigerator so it won’t melt because of his busy schedule.

Also during the fan meeting, a new singer from his management agency performed a special live concert while Oh himself sang “After Love” by Shin Sung-woo to the delight of his fans.

Oh promised his fans he would come back with new works and asked for their unending support and love. He also shook their hands and took pictures, individually thanking them for coming to see him. [Yonhap]
