  • Joo Sang-wook Holds Two Fan Meetings in Nagoya, Japan
  • [2012-06-13]
  • Actor Joo Sang-wook held a fan meet at Meitetsu Hall in Nagoya, Japan, on June 10, entertaining more than 1,800 fans through two sessions.

Joo delighted his fans by making comments like, "I've heard Nagoya is famous for its beautiful women, and I see it is true." He also thanked his fans for coming to see him before having a candid talk forum and displaying pictures from his everyday life.

When asked when he felt he looked the best during a Q&A session, Joo bantered, “after a shower, after a night of drinking, and in pictures that fans Photoshop for me." The actor also showed off his singing skills through a mini live concert and fulfilled his promise he made during an earlier fan meeting held in Tokyo.

About his future plans, Joo told his fans he will be featured in an upcoming Chinese drama, and promised them to release a song in Japan to show off a new side of him. He added, "I want to create more chances to interact with you and I'll be back to say hello with new projects in the future."

The tickets to Joo's fan meeting were sold out as soon as they went on sale so organizers had to arrange another event in the evening to accommodate his popularity.

Joo Sang-wook (33) is best known for his role in the drama Giant, Paradise Ranch and most recently Feast of the Gods.  [Yonhap]
