  • 5,000 Gather for Kim Hyun-joong’s Fan Event in Japan

  • Singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong met with over 5,000 fans celebrating the release of a new Japanese single. During the event which was held in Tokyo’s Odaiba, he thanked his fans for coming to see him despite the rain.

    Kim released his second Japanese single titled Heat on July 4th. Of the album, he said one of the songs, “Let’s Party”, has the meaning of staying together after a party. He also added that his newest songs will not disappoint his fans because he prepared a cute music video and dance moves to dance along.




    In Kim’s latest album, the title song “Heat”, has been gathering a lot of attention because it was written by Japan’s popular group B’z. Kim said, the title best explains the song, adding that “I was happy to receive the song because I’ve always been an admirer of B’z. They were with me through the recording process and their vocal Ibana Koshi participated in the chorus.”

    Kim will be featured live on Fuji TV’s Nonstop to showcase his new single as well as Nihon Television’s Happy Music. On July 15th, he will hold two premium events called Kim Hyun-joong HEAT 2012 in Japan at Saitama Super Arena for those who purchased his album. [Yonhap]
