  • 36,000 Fans Gather for JYP Nation’s Japan Concert

  • Singers who are a part of JYP Entertainment held a successful joint concert titled JYP NATION in Japan, attracting 36,000 fans. According to JYP Entertainment on August 20th, three performances of JYP NATION IN JAPAN 2012 were held from August 18th through the 19th, with a total of 36,000 audience members coming to enjoy the performances.

    Girl group Miss A heated up the stage first and the acts also included Park Jin-young, the Wondergirls, 2PM, 2AM, JJ Project, Joo, San E etc.




    There were a number of collaborations, for example 2AM’s Cho Kwon sang a song written by 2AM’s Joon-su called “Even If We’re Apart” with Joo, while 2PM’s Taecyeon and Ye-eun from the Wondergirls sang a duet called “After You’ve Left”. Meanwhile, Park Jin-young, 2AM’s Chang-min, 2PM’s Jun-ho and Taecyeon sang the Wondergirls’ “Be My Baby” which was a delight to the fans.

    The fans stood in their seats during the entire three-hour performance, often singing along with the songs in Korean. JYP said the tickets for the concerts sold out within 10 seconds, showing how much interest there is for the various idol stars, adding that it was a wonderful event bringing together all of JYP’s talents.[Yonhap]
