  • 2,000 Fans Gather for Kim Jun-soo’s L.A. Concert

  • JYJ’s Kim Jun-soo successfully held the 2nd concert of his world tour in Los Angeles. His management agency said Kim’s XIA 1st World Tour in L.A. concert was held at the Hollywood Paladium on September 2nd(local time) in the midst of over 2,000 fans.

    Similar to his New York concert, Kim sand hts like TARANTALLEGRA, Breath, Set Me Free etc. for around two hours. He told his fans that it finally hit him that he’s on a world tour after coming to L.A. from New York, thanking his fans.




    Bruce Automatic, who produced Kim’s latest English single UNCOMMITTED, was also among the audience. Bruce Automatic is a star producer who has worked with Christina Aguilera and Liona Lewis. He tweeted that Kim’s star quality reminds him of Michael Jackson.

    Meanwhile, Korean American politician Tina Park and the White House’s Assistant Secretary for Insular Affairs Tony Babauta were also among the spectators with Tina Park telling Kim’s management agency that she and Tony Babuta enjoyed the performance. She added that she knew how popular K-pop was around the world and that Kim’s performance made her proud as a Korean.
     
    Kim’s reps said local fans sang along with the English songs, and it was especially a packed house due to the Labor Day holiday in the U.S. Kim will continue his world tour in Mexico on September 6th and head to Brazil and Chile. [Yonhap]
