  • Park Jeong-min Releases Japanese Debut Single as “Romeo”

  • Singer Park Jeong-min has made his formal Japanese debut under the name, “Romeo”. According to his Japanese management, Yamaha A&R, Park’s debut single “Give Me Your Heart” was released on September 5th. Park’s reps added that Romeo is a character from a fantasy that is different from Park Jeong-min and will showcase a strong message and rock-style music.




    “Give Me Your Heart” was produced by Jeff Miyahara, who has worked with top stars like Amuro Namie, V6, KAT-TUN etc. World famous creative director Tanaka Noriyuki participated in the single as a visual director while Japan’s famous pop music critic Yukawa Reiko gave Park the name “Romeo”.
     




    Meanwhile, Park invited the Japanese media and 444 fans in July to an event announcing Romeo’s debut helping his debut single to rank 1st on pre-sale charts for Tower Records and Tsutaya etc.

    Park will hold a showcase celebrating his debut single release at Tokyo Live House on September 29th. [Yonhap]
