  • Singer Ga-in Shows Off Innocence and Sensuality as Tinkerbell in New Album
  • [2012-09-26]
  • Ga-in from the Brown Eyed Girls has transformed into Tinkerbell in her new solo album. The teaser video for the album has been released on September 25th through various music sites like Melon, Loen Music, Youtube, Naver Music etc.

The first video that was released is “Tinkerbell”, a joint project between songwriter Jung Suk-won and lyricist Kim Ina. In the video, Gain transforms into a tiny fairy who visits a man every night. She shows off her innocent as the white Tinkerbell, but also her sensuality as the black Tinkerbell. Gain threw away her signature smoky eye make-up for the innocent white fairy look, which made her look much younger.

A short 30 second teaser of her latest single has drawn listeners’ attention with its unique sound as well as Gain’s transformation. It begins with the acoustic guitar sound and the lyrics describe Tinkerbell visiting a man every night and asking a question. The lyrics and sounds coupled with Gain’s sharp breath as if she is surprised are heightening anticipation for the actual song.

Gain’s management company, Loen Entertainment said Tinkerbell is symbolic of Gain as an artist. Loen reps said that songwriter Jung Suk-won did not hesitate to name Gain as the artist who can express the song’s conflicting attractions. They added hopes that many people will look forward to Gain’s second solo album that contains songs that only Gain can pull off.

Gain will be releasing teaser clips of her entire album in turn each morning at 10 a.m. until September 28th.
