  • 24,000 Fans Gather for Big Bang’s First US Concert

  • Big Bang’s management YG Entertainment has announced the group wrapped up their first concert in the U.S. with success.

    Big Bang’s first U.S. concert was held from November 2nd through 3rd (local time) at California’s Anaheim Honda Center with over 24,000 fans in attendance.

    Some famous celebrities who attended the show include Glee’s Harry Shum Jr. and Kevin McHale.




    Big Bang opened the concert with “Still Alive” and performed a total of 23 songs including “Lie”, “Day by Day”, ‘Fantastic Baby” etc. G-Dragon especially received a lot of praise for his performance of a remix version of his solo title song, “Crayon”.  .
     
    YG said Big Bang’s latest concert was the largest in scale out of Korean singers who have held concerts in the U.S., adding that the local staff were amazed the two concerts sold out without any additional promotional activities.

    Big Bang will continue their North and South American Tour in New Jersey on November 8-9, and Lima, Peru on November 14th. YG expects a total of around 55,000 spectators to attend the performances. [Yonhap]
