  • Over 20,000 Parisians Take Part in Gangnam Style Flash Mob

  • PSY’s Gangnam Style has taken over Paris.
     
    The singer participated in a large-scale flash mob of his viral hit “Gangnam Style” across from the Eiffel Tower on November 5th (local time) in Paris, France. The flash mob was organized by French radio music channel NRJ, and over 20,000 people participated in the event proving PSY’s popularity in Europe. 




    PSY sang “Gangnam Style” twice and did the horse-riding dance with the crowd, creating a great spectacle. The crowd that gathered gave a passionate response, dancing and singing along to “Gangnam Style” despite not knowing the Korean lyrics.
     
    PSY promised the crowd that he would make Paris his first stop if he holds a European tour next year. He also tweeted a picture of the spectacle on his Twitter with the caption, “Only once in my life, saying hello in Paris” thanking his Parisian fans.

     
    PSY will hold a press conference in Paris on November 6th and give a lecture at England’s Oxford University the following day. He will also participate in the MTV European Music Awards on November 11th which will be held in Germany.
