  • Gummy’s New Song Tops Japan’s 'USEN Pop Request Ranking'

  • Solo female singer Gummy has grabbed the number one spot on the ‘USEN J-Pop Request Ranking Top10” in Japan.

     

    A representative of YG Entertainment, Gummy’s agency, said on April 3, “'Shinjiteru', the title track of Gummy’s second mini-album ‘Fate(s)’, which was released in Japan today, has ranked first on the ‘USEN J-Pop Request Ranking'".
     




    USEN is  Japan’s largest cable company. USEN create the chart based on the number of listeners’ requests through its channel. 'Shinjiteru' tells the story of how a woman seeks love after meeting the man of her dreams.

     

    Japanese celebrities including Mitsuki Tanimura and Yoshinori Okada took part in the song's music video.

     

    The mini-album Fate(s) also includes the song “To You, My Beloved (Shinainaru Kimie)”. Gummy sang the song with Big Bang’s Daesung. [Yonhap]
