  • Junho of 2PM To Make Solo Debut in Japan
  • [2013-05-30]
  • Junho, of group 2PM, is to make his solo debut in Japan.

A representative of Junho’s agency announced on May 28, “Junho will make his Japanese solo debut with the release of his mini album 'Kimino Koe(Your voice)'”.

He added, “The solo album will go on sale on July 24. Junho himself conducted the production of the all the tracks. He is scheduled to undertake a 12-concert tour including 11 Zepp Tour concerts and a final concert in five Japanese cities starting July 9.”

Junho has been lauded for his capaabilities as a singer and songwriter both in Korea and Japan. He has demonstrated his ability in production by producing not only the songs on his solo album (five tracks on the regular album and eight tracks on B-type album) but also the music videos and jacket dances. This has heightened fans’ anticipation for his solo debut.

Junho said, “I am very nervous as it is the first time that I have written and composed all the songs on an album and produce the whole album, as before now my songs have only featured on 2PM singles and albums.”

He added, “I am very pleased to have an opportunity to present my own music and stage show as a solo artist.”

2PM recently announced their third album, “Grown”, and will engage in brisk local activities with the release of double title tracks “Come back when you hear this song” and “All day I think of you (Hanippun)”.
