  • Jang Geun-suk's 2nd Japanese Album Ranks 1st on Oricon Daily!
  • [2013-06-03]
  • Hallyu star Jang Geun-suk's 2nd Japanese studio album, <Nature Boy>, has ranked 1st on the Oricon Daily Chart (http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/ja/d/2013-05-28/) upon its debut on May 29th.

Jang has previously ranked 1st on the Oricon Daily as well as Weekly Chart for his debut single <Let Me Cry> in 2011. He was the first solo Asian artist to achieve the feat in Japan.

Following his debut album's success, his first Japanese studio album, <Just Crazy> also ranked 1st on the Oricon Daily and Weekly charts, which sets a record for Jang as all three of his albums have reached the top of the Japanese music ranking chart.

Jang's popularity in Japan was also witnessed by the fact that his latest album sold by a bigger margin than some of the popular Japanese singers who released albums on the same day.

Jang is expected to heat up Asia with his latest album this summer which includes double title songs, "Nature Boy" and "Indian Summer". As official promotions for the album begins, Jang is expected to show off his upgraded skills and endless charms all throughout Asia.

Meanwhile, Jang made an appearance on Nippon Broadcast Radio's "Jang Geun-suk's All Night Nippon GOLD" on May 30th at 10 p.m. and discussed his new album and related episodes for around two hours.
