  • Park Jae-jung Holds Japanese Fan Meeting in Kanghwado Island

  • Actor Park Jae-jung will have a special meeting with Japanese fans who are to visit Korea.

    He will have his 11th fan meeting in Kanghwado Island for three days, starting on June 22.  It will be a precious opportunity  to see the tenacious love that Japanse fans have for Park, and their continued support for him. 

    Park, who performed in the KBS drama “You are my destiny” and MBC Drama “I love you”, has enjoyed great popularity among Japanese fans.




    He threw the first ball in the opening game of the Japanese pro baseball league, a role that is only open to popular celebrities. He also participated in the first joint event for Korean artists in Fukuoka Dome, demonstrating his status as hallyu celebrity in Japan.   

    Various events, including a visit to a drama shooting scene, band performances, presentation of collections, and hand-shaking meetings, have been part of Park’s fan meetings up until now. In the upcoming fan meeting, a ‘narration letter” and video images are to be added, at the fans’ request.

    An official at Park’s agency said, ”We prepared many things to share good memories with Japanese fans who will visit Korea. We wish you to give continuous support for Park who is doing his best to meet fans’ expectations."

    Park Jae-jung is now appearing in KBS drama “A tale of two sisters”, playing Ahn Jung-hyo.
