  •  Crayon Pop plans to go global with "Bar Bar Bar 2.0" music video

    The 5-member girl group Crayon Pop is set to unveil a new music video to their hit song "Bar Bar Bar" on September 9th, according to Sony Korea.
     
    The girls were busy filming parts of their latest music video in Noksapyeong Station, Garosu-gil, Ttukseom Hangang Park, Children's Grand Park and more.
    The version 2.0 of the music video to their hit song "Bar Bar Bar" is set to reach out to more fans around the globe.
     
    A Sony Music spokesperson said "The version 2.0 music video of "Bar Bar Bar" is the first step to Crayon Pop's plan to go global." and added "The new music video was made using various props, sets and concepts with the international fans in mind."
     
    "Bar Bar Bar" released in June, stirred quite a sensation with the fun and energetic "piston" dance and spawned an array of parody music videos.
    It looks like the new music video could be a good follow up to help build on the group's success.
     
    Already the group has caught the attention of the Bilboard charts and ABC news, and some even said they could the next big thing since Psy.
     
    Time magazine published an article on September 2nd titled "K-Pop's Unlikeliest Fans: Middle-Age Males" highlighting the success and fandom of Crayon Pop.
     
    On August 30th, Crayon Pop made it to the top of KBS 2TV's chart show "Music Bank" for the first time since their debut.
