The Israeli drama "Prisoners of War 2" won the Grand Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards.
On September 5th, at the National Theater of Korea, the 2013 Seoul International Drama Awards was held.
The Golden Bird prize for serials went to Spain's "Grand Hotel Season 2."
The Silver Bird prize for serials went to Korea's "Chaser."
The Golden Bird prize for TV Movies went to France's "The Jewish Cardinal" and the Silver Bird prize went to Germany's "Generation War."
The best actor prize went to Lee Moon-sik for KBS drama special "Sang-gwon" and the best actress honors went to Lucy Liu for "Elementary Season 2."
The best writer award went to Lars Lundstrom for "Real Humans", best director is Phillipp Kadelbach for "Generation War".
People's Choice award winners are Jung Yoon-ho of Korea, Nicky Wu of China, Ren Kiriyama of Japan and Ya-Chi Hsu of Taiwan.
Special Prize winners are Lee Won-ik's "The Perfect Day" of Korea and "Hello, New York" by Ruslan Yakun of Kyrgystan.
In the Outstanding Korean Drama Prize category, "Arang and the Magistrate" won Excellent Korean Drama award, King of Ambition won Outstanding Korean Drama award, Living Like a Dream by Kim Jae-joong for Dr. Jin won Outstanding Korean Drama O.S.T award, Lee Jun-ki for "Arang and the Magistrate" won Outstanding Actor award and Suzy for "The Gu Family Book" won Outstanding Korean Actress award.

This year, a record number of 225 dramas from 48 countries were submitted into the SDA competition
