Singer Kang Ta will perform at the CCTV 2005 Summer Star Group Concert scheduled for July 22 in Guangzhou, China.

A person from SM Entertainment, Kang`s agency, said that many top Chinese and Hong Kong artists will perform at the concert, including Shawn Yue, who starred in the movie `Infernal Affairs,` Joey Yung, and the Korean-Chinese group `Arirang,` among others. Kang, the only Korean artist to be invited to the concert, will perform his hit songs `Mask` and `23+ The Best` in the finale.

Currently, the singer is rehearsing for a charity tour slated for mid-August that will benefit children living in the rural areas of China.
