The movie `3-Iron` (directed by Kim Ki-deok), which received rave reviews at the 2004 Venice Film Festival, will be shown at 44 theaters in 35 German cities Aug. 11-17.

Kim Ki-deok is well-known in Germany for his previous movies `Samaria,` which earned him the Best Director award at the 2004 Berlin Film Festival, and `Bad Guy,` which drew significant attention at the 2002 Berlin festival.

`3-Iron` was introduced in the latest edition of the famous German magazine `Der Spiegel,` which described it as `gentle and at the same time containing several violent and rough scenes, which is the unique characteristic of Kim`s works.`
