
Singer Park Hyun-bin has donated his talent for charity by specially acting in a multi-culture family movie entitlted “Hwang Gu (Yellow dog).”
According to Inwoo Production, Park’s agency, on Nov.4, Park played the part of a character who taught singing and dancing to Min-gu, a leading figure in the movie who aspires to be a trot singer. The movie began shooting on Oct. 28.
A representative of the agency said that Park acted in the film for charity, motivated by the thought that it was a meaningful movie that aims to eradicate prejudice against multi-culture families.
Park Hyun-bin said, “I accepted the casting offer as I thought the movie will show me as I really am.” He added, “I hope this movie contributes to creating a turning point in people’s perception of multi-culture families, abolishing people’s prejudice against them.”
Hwang Goo will premiere in the early next year after completing shooting this month.
