Before the story begins in earnest with adult actors, the stills of the actors Um Tae Woong and Lee Joon Hyuk were unveiled.

“Man From the Equator” is the story of two men with entwined fates named Sun Woo (Um Tae Yoong) and Chang Il (Lee Joon Hyuk), and it will portray their story of revenge and love along with two women named Ji Won (Lee Bo Young) and Soo Mi (Im Jeong Eun). It will be a melodrama with a revenge plot. Viewers are looking forward to watching another excellent drama. Um Tae Woong plays the character Sun Woo who lives a passionate life against his twisted destiny, and Lee Joon Hyun plays Sun Woo's best friend and elite prosecutor Jang Il, who betrays his best friend for his own success. Um Tae Woong and Lee Joon Hyuk will have a confrontation in the drama as a person who wants to avenge himself and another who wants to keep a dirty secret.

In the unveiled scene, Um Tae Woong (Sun Woo), who came back from the jaws of death, meets Lee Joon Hyuk (Jang Il), who led him down that path, and the scene contained a lot of tension, but in the unveiled stills, two actors presented a friendly atmosphere instead of tension. They acted in a serious atmosphere, but after finishing shooting, they held each other and kept a friendly appearance on the film set.

In addition, on the 3rd episode that aired on March 28, Sun Woo fights with Jang Taek for Jang Il (Im Si Won) at the risk of his life. And Jang Il, who enters university in Seoul, began his happy campus life after reuniting with Ji Won in Seoul, but he comes to fall into torture after finding out the fact that his father was involved in Kyung Phil’s death.
