  • [New Drama, "The Innocent Man"] Lee Kwang-soo Shows Off Ridiculous Confidence of a Player in New Role
  • [2012-09-05]
  • Actor Lee Kwang-soo is expected to leave a strong impression in the upcoming Wednesday/Thursday drama, “The Innocent Man”.

Lee plays Song Joong-ki’s character, Maru’s best friend in the drama. His character, Park Jae-kil, has grown up in a wealthy household and studied business management. His acting and character is expected to breathe life into the drama.

In still shots from on set, Lee Kwang-soo was shown with a newspaper that read, “a great catch, innocent youth, big hit, no girlfriend”. His character is expected to bring laughter and comic relief to the otherwise serious melodrama. Lee is also known as making everyone laugh on set, creating a fun atmosphere despite everyone having to film days on end.

The drama’s staff members said Lee Kwang-soo was expected to bring laughter to the audience in the midst of the drama’s heavy main story. They asked for the audiences’ continued interest in Lee’s character.

“The Innocent Man” features Song Joong-ki who transforms into a bad guy from an innocent college student after being betrayed by the woman he loves, Moon Chae-won, a cold-hearted woman, and Park Shi-yeon, an ambitious woman who has to give up the love of her life. The sad melodrama will start airing on September 12th.
