The thrilling and complex plot of KBS drama “The Innocent Man” has kept the audience glued to the screen. Especially, the steadfast and loyal love of Lee Sang-yeop has really captured the hearts of the female audience.
In the drama, Park Joon-ha (played by Lee Sang-yeop) is Taesan Group’s lawyer and childhood friend of Seo Eun-gi (played by Moon Chae-won). Unlike the other revengeful characters, Park Joon-hae is a man with eyes only for Moon Chae-won. His ardent love has been moving the hearts of the audience.
In the early episodes, Lee Sang-yeop was afraid that his feelings for Moon Chae-won would be a burden to her, so he had confessed that he loved men. He was that desperate to be with her.
His deep concern for Eun-gi when reporting of Maru (played by Song Joong-ki)’s past and his threat to quit if CEO Seo (played by Kim Young-chul) doesn’t let Eun-gi into the house shows his feelings for Eun-gi.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yeop has stayed by Kim Young-chul despite all the conspiracy and betrayals to protect Moon Chae-won, winning the hearts of the female audience as much as his gentle gaze towards Moon Chae-won and his perfectly fitted suits.
Viewers have left passionate comments about the Park Joon-ha character on the drama’s website saying, “I love Lee Sang-yeop… If it weren’t for Maru I would hope Eun-gi ends up with him”, “I feel relieved that Lee Sang-yeop is by Moon Chae-won’s side”, “I feel like the Innocent Man is Lee Sang-yeop’s character Park Joon-ha”, “Poor Park
