Lee Yoobi plays the role of Kang Choco, the younger sister of Song Joongki’s character Kang Maru. She has a crush on Lee Kwangsoo’s character Park Jaekil. Her fresh and colorful character is bringing both laughter and tears to the audience enjoying the drama.

Lee Yoobi’s pure and innocent heart moved the audience to tears from time to time, while scenes of her acting as a dating coach for Moon Chaewon’s character Seo Eungi, pushing her to go on a trip with Kang Maru brought out laughter. The scene when she asks her father in heaven to help Moon Chaewon get better instead of making her wish come true also moved the audience.

Critics are saying Kang Choco’s innocent character and Lee Yoobi’s serious acting and bright and cheerful self is creating a synergy effect. Lee Yoobi was also able to show off her other talents 200% in the drama as her character wants to become a singer. She sang IU’s “Good Day” in her own style in an audition scene leaving a strong impression on the audience and her name was listed on the hot search words list on internet portal sites after the episode aired.
Netizens commented, “Kang Choco’s heart caring for someone that is hurting is very touching”, “she’s so cute with her crush on Gwangsoo”, “an actress with both a serious and innocent side, she’s one to look out for”, “she’s an actress that draws you in” etc.

Meanwhile, Song Joongki has fallen deeply in love with Moon Chaewon that he is regretting pulling her into his devastating life while she is in pain with memories that are slowing coming back to her. Their story continues in The Innocent Man that airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
