  • [NEW DRAMA 'School 2013'] Distinctive Posters in Three Sets Released

  • Distinctive  posters  of  KBS 2TV’s new Monday/Tuesday drama “School 2013” have been released.

    The posters consist of three sets - teachers version, students’ version and Jang Na-ra, Choi Daniel and Seungri High School students’ library version.
     
    In the teachers’ version,  the homeroom teachers Jang Na-ro and Choi Daniel, the female principal Park Hae-mi, the vice principal Lee Han-wi, teachers Yoon Joo-sang, Eum Hyo-sok and Oh Young-sil have transformed themselves to cute students of schools in the 1970s. The teachers’ appearances who went back to their young days are heightening anticipation for the upcoming drama, which will place focus on teachers.



    The library cut has a warm-hearted atmosphere, showing harmony between Choi Daniel and Jang Na-ra and the student characters. The copy in the poster “Students hide and adults don’t know…” is making viewers anxious about the real episodes at schools that will take place among them.

    The students’ version, the main poster, features friends of Seungri High School  Juniors in class two, including Lee Jong-suk, Park Se-young, Kim Woo-bin, Ryu Hyo-young, Kwak Jeong-wook, Choi Chang-yeop, Cheon Soo-jin, Kim Young-chun, Kim Chang-hwan and Kim Dong-suk, who are circling around big letters ‘Hak Gyo(school)’. It showed the individualistic personalities of the diverse students characters. 

    The logo in the ‘School 2013’ poster is meaningful.  The logo comprises  combinations of consonants and vowels of Hangeul in diverse colors visualized diverse dreams of varied students. The Hangeul consonants and vowels symbolized
     
    the school by embodying different signs and numbers and notebooks.



    The three sets of “School 2013” posters will be posted at the 5,473 schools, including 3,186 middle schools and 2,287 high schools, across the country in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The distribution of the posters is expected to contribute to making the drama a must-see for both students and parents. 

    A member of production team for “School 2013” said, “The unique three sets of posters will be posted at the nation’s middle- and high schools. We want to show a realistic school to viewers and lead nexus of a whole generation.”

    He added, “We will make a drama that both all the students and parents can see. Please lend support to us.”

    Rookies Jang Na-ro and Choi Daniel appear as teachers and other rookies Lee Jong-suk, Park Se-young and Kim Woo-bin as students in the new teen drama “School 2013”, drawing attention from viewers. It will begin at 10 p.m. on Dec. 3, following ‘Ohlala Couple’.
