  • [Cool Kiz On The Block] Chang-min of TVXQ Uses his Body for Laughs
  • [2013-04-11]
  • In the first episode of KBS2TV's entertainment program "Arts and Sports in Our Village" aired on April 9th, Chang-min from TVXQ's lone battle was in the spotlight. Chang-min shed his idol image and showed off his comic side, even in the face of Kang Ho-dong and Lee Soo-geun.

Chang-min was not afraid to use his body to create laughs, well adjusting to the nature of the program. He had to draw two large moles on his face as penalty, his careless make-up and puzzled looks and his robotic stiffness while learning table tennis all created laughs.

Chang-min also had an embarrassing moment when heard from an elementary school student on a table tennis team that he didn't know who Chang-min was. He didn't let go of any laughter points, as he faced off against SHINee's Min-ho in a table tennis battle of losers and won the game with flying colors.

He was a great addition to the cast even amid entertainment show veterans Kang Ho-dong and Lee Soo-geun. He was bold when Kang and Lee didn't know the right answer, but then would also get it wrong earning a lot of rebuke. He also volunteered to be the spy and sneak into the Sandgdo-dong Table Tennis team's practice rooms. He was the two sly older entertainers' young naive brother who created a lot of laughs due to his inexperience. Viewers have commented that they enjoyed watching Chang-min in this role, which was a fresh change from his usual idol image.

To find out more about the table tennis match between team Sangdo-dong and the entertainer team, tune into "Our Neighborhood Arts and Sports" which airs every Tuesday at 11:10 p.m.
