• KBS engages in multilateral exchanges and cooperation projects with broadcasters and media organizations overseas. KBS’s collaborations in the areas of production and technology consulting, have raised its international reputation and credibility. As the key member of international organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Public Broadcasters International (PBI), International Public Television (INPUT), KBS aims to contribute to the ongoing dynamism of the global media environment.

      • Internationally Renowned KBS Programs
        KBS programs are widely recognized in various international awards for their creativity and quality. In 2015 Trial of Chunhyang: A Girl Prosecuted by Feudalism, Discovery of Love and Immortal songs: The Michael Bolton Episode won Best in Genres at the Rockie Awards Program Competition at the Banff World Media Festival. KBS drama, Snowy Path, won a Prix Italia in the category of TV Film and TV Series. The two hour-long drama that portrays victims of sexual slavery during the second world war captured the hearts of the international audience.
      • Cultivating Creativity: International Joint Production
        KBS is dedicated to international co-production where creativity and expertise are shared to produce quality programs. The award winning documentary Asian Corridor in Heaven and Documentary Three Days, which observed and compared slices of ordinary lives in Beijing and New York are the results of such dedication. KBS is also involved in international projects such as The Asian Pitch and CARE (Change Asia Rescue the Earth). CARE is a documentary co-production program among Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union member broadcaster. Now into its sixth edition, CARE has been put efforts to emphasize the issues of Millennium Development Goals such as gender equality and education for youth.
      • International Joint Productions
        KBS has steadily participated in international coproductions. The joint productions include the 11th Korea-China Song Festival with China’s CCTV in Qingdao, China and the ABU Robocon and ABU joint production campaigns.
